From the most desirable certification a brand could have, Geprüfte Sicherheit (GS) provides that: Çilek Products are created in accordance to advanced child safety standards, are in accordance to European Union standards on anti-carcinogenic and anti-bacterial materials, and are produced with the most developed technology.

Çilek is the only Turkish brand in the sector with the Geprüfte Sicherheit (GS) Certificate of Quality.

How does one obtain the Geprüfte Sicherheit (GS) Certificate of Quality?

All candidate firms are subjected to independent testing and inspection of facilities and technology, quality control analyses, and other criteria, which if found up to standards are certified. The tests are administered with extreme care and detail with only those firms well up to qualifications being provided certification.

This means Çilek produces under the standards of Geprüfte Sicherheit (GS) certification, or by the admission of 135 years of certification experience, over 900 specialized employees, 80 well able modern laboratories at over 30 locations as independent and qualified testing institutions.

Çilek Products are constantly subjected to tests by these laboratories by the hundreds or thousands in order to ensure reliability. Çilek has achieved the above certification by achieving the certification of products to the Geprüfte Sicherheit (GS) standards one piece at a time.



European Union (EU) Standards

All Çilek Products and materials are in coincidence with European Union standards. The specially produced melamine coated chipboards used in the raw materials for Çilek Products are anti-carcinogenic, anti-bacterial and anti-allergenic. A costly process in production has allowed for the successful reduction of E1 formaldehyde levels to the point that its use in materials has become harmless.


Child Safety

Production detail concerning child safety is one of our major concerns.

Çilek Products are always made of top quality materials. Made specifically for Çilek Products so that there are no elements harmful to the health and well being of children in any way, materials are made of anti-carcinogenic, anti-allergenic, and anti-bacterial melamine coated chipboards and are easy to clean.

Çilek also uses specially tempered glass. This way, the risk in accidental breakage that would normally result in sharp and jagged pieces that may cause harm to children is immeasurably reduced.

The fabrics used on Çilek are not only fire retardant but also easy to clean.
